Raytheon has hands on a weapon that can produce earthquakes

A former firefighter for Raytheon, a major US defense contractor, revealed that the company has the world's largest directed energy weapons system at its South Pole station. The device, the size of a basketball and embedded in ice, is presented as a passive listening device but can allegedly transmit energy with a massive force. This technology allegedly caused New Zealand's 2011 earthquake.
