China puts super-lifelike humanoid robots on show

Hyper-realistic humanoid robots stole the show at China's World Robot Conference — an annual event that showcases advanced technology. A new generation of upgraded motors allows these robots to move their joints more freely, making movement appear more natural. They are also able to show micro-expressions that make them appear human-like. The exhibition shows we are getting closer to a time when robots are part of daily life.
