Telegraph up for sale after takeover collapses

The Daily and Sunday Telegraph newspapers are back on the market after a takeover bid by the Abu Dhabi-backed RedBird IMI consortium collapsed due to UK government intervention. The government raised concerns about potential ownership by a state-controlled business. The consortium, largely funded by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahyan, will now seek the "best value" for the titles.
