First human undergoes Musk's brain implant

Elon Musk announced that Neuralink Corp's first human patient received a brain implant aimed at enabling thought-based computer operation for people with traumatic injuries. The patient is recovering well with encouraging results. Approved by the FDA, the trials focus on quadriplegia and ALS patients. Previously, Neuralink's animal tests, particularly on primates, drew criticism from animal rights groups.
