Uzbekistan has been ranked the world's most miserable country, followed by the UK, with the Dominican Republic as the happiest. The report, based on over 500,000 people across 71 countries, revealed a decline in mental well-being since the Covid-19 pandemic. The report also indicates a correlation between higher GDP, younger smartphone ownership, ultra-processed food consumption, and poor mental well-being.
