This village in India is taking digital detox seriously

Vadgaon, a village in India's Maharashtra, sets off an alarm at 7 pm every day, indicating to all residents to switch off their TV sets and mobile phones. During a village meeting, the council president said they decided to stop using the instruments of addiction as both children and adults spend too much time on them. They can turn on the switch when the siren goes off again at 8:30 pm.
