NYT wants to destroy ChatGPT and other notable LLMs

A viral tweet has pointed out that the New York Times wants ALL Large Language Models trained on Times data to be destroyed, including GPT 3 and 4, Claude, and Mistral. They're suing OpenAI and Microsoft, arguing that AI models bypass the paywall and infringe on copyrights. The lawsuit could set a precedent in AI fair use laws. The NYT is claiming "billions of dollars in statutory and actual damages."
